Dr. Nestor Camacho — public API and agent documentation

Use these resources to find public information about Dr. Nestor Camacho, General Medicine and home visits in Cochabamba, Bolivia: service area, contact channels, published consultation pricing, services and frequently asked questions. They do not provide diagnosis, emergency care, patient records, appointment availability or booking.

The public read-only HTTP API requires no authentication: GET /api/agent/practice, GET /api/agent/services and GET /api/agent/faq. Add ?locale=es or ?locale=en; Spanish is the default. Responses contain data and metadata (locale and generatedAt). GET /openapi.json describes the operations and schemas. HEAD is also supported. Errors use application/problem+json with status, code, detail, resolution and the legacy error field.

Each API operation and the MCP endpoint allow 60 requests per minute per IP. The default limit is process-local; deployments configured with Upstash share the limit. On HTTP 429, wait for Retry-After seconds. API errors are not cacheable. Successful REST responses may be cached for two minutes by clients and five minutes by shared caches, with up to five additional minutes of stale content during revalidation.

MCP clients connect to /mcp using Streamable HTTP. No token or account is required. Initialize using the MCP protocol, then call tools/list and tools/call. Available read-only tools: practice.info, practice.services.list and practice.faq.list. Each accepts {"locale":"es"} or {"locale":"en"}. The server is stateless and uses JSON responses; standalone GET event streams and session deletion are not supported (405). POST requests must accept both application/json and text/event-stream. Browser Origin headers must match the configured site origin or the canonical nestorcamacho.org origins. Cross-origin browser access is not enabled.

Request the homepage, localized service pages, about, contact, privacy or this documentation with Accept: text/markdown for Markdown at the same URL. HTML remains available with Accept: text/html. Responses vary by Accept; quality values are honored and HTML wins ties. Unsupported document media types receive 406. Unknown document paths return a Markdown 404 when requested. Static assets, API routes, administration, the CMS and blog retain their own formats. GET /api/agent/content?path=/es is the underlying Markdown renderer.

Cite the canonical public pages returned by the tools. Direct appointment enquiries to the published WhatsApp contact and let the person choose whether to contact the practice. Do not submit patient data, claim an appointment is confirmed, or use these resources as medical advice. For emergencies, call local emergency services.
